Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to register on the Platform.
• Registration requires a valid email address or mobile number, verified via OTP (delivered by WhatsApp or SMS), or sign-up via a supported third-party account (Google/LinkedIn).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• One user may hold multiple roles (e.g., Manufacturer and Employer) under a single account; permissions for each role are enforced independently regardless of the active dashboard view.
• Enterprise accounts may designate sub-users under a parent admin; the parent admin remains responsible for all sub-user activity and consolidated billing.

2. KYC & Verification

Certain features (including posting listings, publishing RFQs, and receiving verification badges) require completion of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification, including submission of GST certificates, PAN, and related business documents.

• Documents submitted for KYC must be authentic, current, and belong to the submitting entity.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or revoke any verification badge at its sole discretion, with reasons communicated to the affected user.
• Verification badges (Basic KYC / GST Verified / Premium Verified / Third-Party Verified) indicate a level of documentary or testing verification and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by Notofire Pvt Ltd of any user's products, services, or business conduct.

3. Marketplace Listings, Inquiries, RFQs & Quotes

• Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing information, including material grade, quantity, pricing, specifications, and compliance claims (e.g., IS standard conformity).
• Inquiries, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and quotes exchanged on the Platform are offers and communications between the respective buyer and seller. Notofire Pvt Ltd is not a party to, and assumes no liability for, the underlying commercial transaction unless expressly stated.
• Auction-format listings (deadstock/machinery) are binding on the winning bidder and the seller upon auction close, subject to the reserve price and listing terms set by the seller.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd may moderate, delay, or remove any listing that it reasonably believes violates these Terms, applicable law, or platform quality guidelines.

4. Payments, Commissions & Payouts

• Payments for transactions, subscriptions, testing fees, and add-on services are processed through the Platform's designated payment partner (Razorpay Route or successor).
• Where an escrow/hold mechanism applies (e.g., disputed transactions, third-party testing payouts), funds are released to the seller or service provider only upon confirmation of delivery, requester confirmation, or resolution of a dispute, as applicable.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd deducts applicable platform commissions, listing fees, or success fees prior to payout, as disclosed at the time of listing, auction, booking, or transaction.
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; GST-compliant invoices are issued for subscription and fee transactions.

5. Subscription Plans & Usage Limits

• Free-tier and paid-tier accounts are subject to monthly usage quotas for metered actions (e.g., inquiries, RFQs, quote reveals). Quotas reset on the user's billing anniversary.
• Subscription upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Failed subscription renewal payments are subject to a grace period, after which access to paid features may be suspended until payment is resolved.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd may modify which actions are classified as "metered" and the applicable quotas from time to time, with notice provided through the Platform.

6. Community Feed & User-Generated Content

• Users are solely responsible for content they post, including text, images, documents, articles, job postings, and comments ("User Content").
• By posting User Content, you grant Notofire Pvt Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the Platform, including in search-indexed article pages.
• Prohibited content includes unlawful, defamatory, infringing, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive material, and content that violates a third party's rights. Notofire Pvt Ltd may remove such content and take action against repeat offenders, including suspension or termination.
• Reviews and ratings may only be submitted by confirmed parties to a completed transaction; manipulation of the review system is prohibited.

7. Job Postings, Courses & Consultations

• Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings; applying to job posts is free for job seekers regardless of subscription tier.
• Paid courses, certifications, and 1:1 expert consultations are provided by third-party instructors/consultants; Notofire Pvt Ltd facilitates booking and payment but is not responsible for the content or advice provided.
• Consultation payments are held and released to the consultant upon session completion or dispute resolution; platform commission (15–20%, as applicable) is deducted at payout.

8. Third-Party Quality Testing

• Third-party lab or on-ground testing is performed by independent testing agencies onboarded and monitored by Notofire Pvt Ltd; test reports reflect the findings of the assigned agency at the time of testing.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd facilitates payment, scheduling, and dispute escalation for testing services but does not itself perform testing and disclaims liability for the technical accuracy of any third-party test report, subject to applicable law.
• Requesters may choose whether to make a test report public on a listing; agencies are paid out per the applicable confirmation SLA.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disagreements directly. Where this fails, either party may open a formal dispute through the Platform with supporting evidence.
• Opening a dispute may automatically place the related payment on hold pending resolution by Notofire Pvt Ltd's deal-operations team.
• Notofire Pvt Ltd's decision on a dispute relating to platform-mediated payments (including holds, releases, and refunds) is final for the purposes of the Platform's payment system, without prejudice to either party's independent legal remedies.

10. Digital Contracts & E-Signature

Where a supply agreement or other contract is auto-generated following an accepted RFQ or quote, execution via Aadhaar-based e-signature (through an authorised e-sign service provider) is intended to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. Users are responsible for reviewing generated contract terms before signing.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

Collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, prepared in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and made available separately. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Intellectual Property

The CableConnect name, logo, platform design, software, and underlying technology are the property of Notofire Pvt Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you, except the limited licence to access and use the Platform for its intended business purpose.

13. Prohibited Conduct

• Circumventing the Platform to complete transactions off-platform to avoid fees, where such circumvention is expressly discouraged by these Terms.
• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, reviews, or business documentation.
• Attempting to access another user's account, scrape the Platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Indian law.

14. Suspension & Termination

Notofire Pvt Ltd may suspend or terminate a user's access to the Platform, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, repeated policy violations, or as required by law. Users may close their account at any time, subject to resolution of any pending transactions, disputes, or payment obligations.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notofire Pvt Ltd acts as an intermediary marketplace and is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of goods and services exchanged between users, except where Notofire Pvt Ltd has directly undertaken an obligation (e.g., processing a payment, facilitating an escrow release). Notofire Pvt Ltd's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by the user to Notofire Pvt Ltd in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Notofire Pvt Ltd, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Platform.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms, subject to the dispute resolution process described in Section 9.

18. Changes to These Terms

Notofire Pvt Ltd may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or via registered contact channels (email/WhatsApp). Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
